MESSWORK

A SOMATIC PRACTICE Facilitating creatives in transforming wounding to authenticity, utilising mess as a catalyst for growth.

MESS

We tend to equate “mess” with disarray, untidiness, confusion, and disorder. Mess derives from Old Latin, meaning “putting something in its place,” “mission,” or an invitation “to send, to let go.”

WORK

We recognise "work" as mental or physical labor, "something done, performed." Work derives from Old English, emphasising physical effort and exertion before the evolution of the concept of "artistic labor" and "works of art" as "artistic creation."

MESSWORK

While in disarray, putting something in its place through artistic creation and labor.
